This album is a collective call for ceasefire in Gaza through sound. Musicians from all around the globe who define themselves as women, transgender or non-binary people were invited to participate in this fundraiser compilation. All proceeds will go to Medical Aid for Palestinians.

As an intersectional feminist organisation, Konstmusiksystrar works towards safe spaces and justice for all, and towards uplifting underrepresented voices. We strive to uphold these same values beyond the cultural field, standing next to all of those who are resisting unjust power structures.

Konstmusiksystrar (Sisters in Contemporary Music) was founded in 2014 by Lo Kristenson and Marta Forsberg, who were composition students at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, as a network of composers and sound artists who define themselves as women, transgender or non-binary people.
